whoo. it's eric's birthday. and he's so lucky to have me as a classmate cos i brought a candle and lighter. then during break we bought him this gui ling gao which is very bitter and sang him happy birthday. haha. sorry people i'm leaving already but i'll try to remember your birthdays ok .

i'm planning to make a birthday list of all my friends. whoo. cool right. but i'm quite a computer idiot so might need some help from my dearest SISTER !! *smiles widely*

hmmm. today i came home with aaron a.k.a. moses haha he stays near me and he doesn't know where longhouse is. tsk tsk. and him and i have no ccas so we're free birds ! free to go home straight after lessons end. whee. how cool is that. i left school at 1245 and everyone else had lessons so i was walking very fast. well since i had no one to walk with, it would have been quite silly to walk all the way to Potong Pasir. so i decided to take 142 because the bus stop is just across the road. well there aaron comes along and we were talking. so i asked where he stayed and i found out he normally takes 13 but he was in the same situation as me . so we walked together to take 13. whoopie. can look for him next time if i leave school early.

i realised that in life, its ok to have expectations but sometimes they should be realistic ones that are easily achievable. not too easily. but at least relatively easy. i mean sometimes i have a picture in my mind of what i want things or people to look like and sometimes they don't turn out the way i expected them to. hahas

anyway i met chunping today. he's like super amazing. he can clean the house, wash, iron and even cook i bet. and he's like VERY TALL. 180+ ? bleahx. and i was feeling so happy today cos we took height and weight and i grew taller. i'm now 157.5 muah haha. quite happy already lar. the plan was to watch a movie i think and since its a monday. i can still afford. but in the end we went over to paradigm to play pool. heh . i learnt some cool stuff today ok. cos he's like quite pro. the little boys at the table beside us wanted to make him their shi fu already . so i watch and learn lar. didn't lose to him as badly as i thought i would. some games he sank the black ball first. heh

heh . today has been a great day. daddy mummy and i went to little india area to eat nasi briyani then we went to funan to look around for laptops . i was very tempted to get the compac one but the toshiba man managed to convince me more because he was honest and nice about everything. hmmm i couldn't help but want to buy immediately hahas. but we decided to buy another day instead.

well i wanted a new camera cos the one i share with jiejie is always stuck at adam's korkor's house. mamee decided to buy me the 5.0 megapixel casio exilim one which i've been eyeing heh .. she decided not to save on hundred and fifty dollars for the other one. whee. i'm so happy. PRAISE THE LORD for blessing me so much today. i'm just so happy. so drowned in God's love for me.

had cell group meeting last night. and i'm feeling quite depressed i wasn't touched by the Holy spirit so today i'm going to focus on God itself and pray to be able to talk in tongue. anyway God is good all the time. yupps

we were playing with the silly furby last night cos it was so silly. and elana or how her name is spelt has a furby too. so maybe she'll bring it too on the next cell group if she comes then hers kaka's and mine can play together. lolx

finished at like 11 last night all the way at bedok reservoir. so Praise the Lord that kaka has a car and he sent us home. heh saved me lots of time so that i would reach home earlier and have more quiet time to pray and read the bible. yupp. and we talked about stuff about going overseas and not backsliding cos even if you are just stagnant, you will be counted backsliding cos God is always moving forward.

i have given up on CCAs already. shall spend my last week or last two weeks slacking and playing with friends after school since my lessons end relatively early.

hoho. anyway caiping was telling me all about her ITE life and it seems super cool. telling me about the CCa exhibition thingie and stuff. whee.

today has been a pretty lousy day for me. i just realised yesterday that i've sort of been avoiding my problems for the last 16 years of my life. and it sucks to suddenly realise it

anyway was being grouchy today but well guess its just my habit to be happy and well starting off the day prasing the Lord really doesn't allow me to be unhappy lar knowing that God will always support me and give me strength.

first GP tutorial and we have an assignment to do within one day. bleahx. having geog h1 lecture at 315 tomorrow. probably going to hang out again and then i think we'll have soccer. aiyaii. my life is full of mixed feelings and sometimes i just feel like crying although i don't really want other people to know i'm quite weak sometimes. come on. face it. i'm a girl lar. although i know i'm not exactly the most girly girl around or the most demure and cultured and refined though my name is shuyan and the shu sort of stands for being demure and lady-like. things get to me.

like we were going for dinner today after band and there was this fat rat which got run over by a car and its intestines or brain or some organ was like outside its body and it was a really really REALLY GROSS SIGHT. i really felt sad for it although i'm not a fond of rats. what happened after that served to traumatize me even more because these crows came and pecked at its' spilled out guts. eww/ the thought of it sends shivers down my spine. and well, i couldn't bear to watch anymore but i heard the crow put its claw, foot or whatever it is on the rats body and pulled the whatever organ it was out, using its leg as some fulcrum thing. eww eww eww// super disturbing. like the stupid driver must have been really lucky to have run over the rat cos i don't think its that easy to run over one unless it was already dead in the middle of the carpark. grrr. poor rat.

soccer training was fun and since i woke up late i didn't eat breakfast, and that was the dumbest thing i could have ever done. was feeling super weak but caught up in the exhilaration of soccer-ing haha

well. the field was super muddy so we all became mud people and my nice white shoes turned totally BROWN !! then we played a match . like 5 on 5 again. and i fell down in the mud twice. so i went home with a muddy bum ! and i was too tired to wash up. cos it would be quite ma fan, so i decided to just take a bus in all my muddy-splendour lolx ended up washing my shoes and my shorts and shirt and my arms and legs for close to an hour. hmm. kk gtg soon cos i need to go book seats for service later. see ya people !

wow. today had the first band prac. wasn't as bad as i expected. and wasn't as stressful as i thought it would be. maybe because i already went there mentally prepared. or could be because i practiced so hard to improve my strokes and stuff after how many years of being a percussionist .

oh well. i'm like wondering whether i really like band THAT much to want to be in it again/ anyway i played the drum set part for american pie today and amazingly i was sort of praised for having good timing and rhythm hahas. cos maybe i always play this sort of simple beats so its not exactly new to me. although my legs hurt again cos i was trying to stomp on the bass drum as hard as i could. hahas wonder how i'm going to survive soccer tomorrow morning. meeting at 8 o'clock at bishan. i hope i can wake up so i shall try to cut ay long stories short.

people in band are also much nicer than i expected them to be. though the ice breaking game was quite boring and the few of us were sort of entertaining ourselves at the back which is rather rude considering the principal just talked about respecting people and respecting place this morning at assembly haha oops*

but trombone and percussion are like one of the few so it was quite a long wait before our turn and since the other people are like on auto-high, we were feeling a teensy-weensy bored and stoned . playing music actually requires a lot of concentration which leaves my brain feeling tired out after band prac.

well well. we went to eat dinner at broadway food centre and yah people i never expected to be in band actually are and they are surprisingly much nicer than i expected them to be hahas

oh and it was commented that sas guys always thought cedarians were snobbish hahas. its partially right and like partially cos of circumstances. shall not elaborate cos its not really impt. anyway. its the weekend. but it seems i'm equally busy on saturday. having soccer practice where we're meeting at 8 and then probably going to cut my hair. and then have to go book seats at church. sheesh i'm on duty again. hahas with rodney and ron and i don't even have their numbers lolx/

oh well. mr amk. jiahao i think is going to try to irritate me over the weekend. lets see if he succeeds hahas because its rather difficult to lolx.

haven't really been updating for a long time. and i didn't even blog about orientation. it was really fun with all the games and stuff which my group only won one out of all . and had mass dance which was quite torturous at times and fun at times. and there was the disco thingie which was super fun and we got on auto-high but left me with muscle aches for a few days from all the jumping and screaming and running . and val sprained her ankle

its been a great time in sajc and it just makes things difficult when i'm leaving next month you see.

i realise there's so much you can learn about people in different situations and how scandals can become reality haha. i guess ten years of being in a girl's school makes an environment with half the population being male seem strange, awkward, weird, whatever it is. it just isn't the same as being in cedar.

like how people would go to great lengths to keep secrets, how people have secret crushes on others, how people would be shy to make friends, its rather interesting

hmmm. my OG is a cool bunch. we're not from the arts fac which is like automatically quite enthu. but they are actually really fun. at the beginning they will be indecisive and not choose stuff but in the end, everyone will be quite ON about stuff.

like on tuesday, we went to play pool. and we beat og22. hahas

and today we went to eat at the kopitiam and talked and laughed. what with mama ivan and his ivan mama shop and me telling the jokes bernana shared hahas

naan was super funny lar. he laughed till he cried. and pratata and masalah and me-papadum. lolx

well well today i went for soccer training. they're going to have selections within the next two weeks. but in the meantime its really cool. hope i get in cos i seem to have lost interest in canoeing, touch rugby and odac. hahas so tomorrow i shall try out band practice. hope naan goes !! you won't know what it will be like till you've tried it

tomorrow i shall go back to cedar with the others to get my eagles award thing and prom photos lolx. as well as pass hong her jacket which i didn't even know i had hoho.

back to girl's soccer. we had to run five laps of i don't know how to describe the route. and then did warm ups and reps of training the legs, abs, back, etc etc then we had to do these exercises around the cones stuff. i felt like i was a monkey in a circus doing some weird leg exercises and the only thing i had in my mind was semiquavers. oh well/ they all said i was good at it. so i shall just leave it at that

then we were leaving the school and we saw some j1s playing with the seniors so shar and i decided to join them. at least it was ok for shar cos she has experience playing street soccer and all. but me ?? i'm like a total soccer idiot. was running around aimlessly so i wasted lots of energy. at least i was trying.... later one of the j2s hurt her leg and they went to help her and stuff and some people left so there were only 11 people left including shar and i. and i had no choice but to play striker while she played defender. brrr. was trying my best to get the ball and like kick it before the opponent got it away from me. tackling or whatever its called. hahas and i almost managed to score a goal !! which i didn't score in the end despite all the favourable circumstances. it was a good effort seeing its the first time i'm actually playing soccer !!

wow. i'm impressed lar. shahir's beats song don't know what thing is like super cool. pity i'm not as musically inclined. just that i'm quite ok in percussion cos we always play such simple songs. lolx
